Spill Games Raises $3.1 Million in Seed Funding

Spill Games, a Bengaluru-based mobile gaming startup, has successfully closed a seed funding round worth $3.1 million, roughly Rs 28 crore. The round was co-led by Centre Court Capital and PeerCapital, with All In Capital joining as a returning backer. This early investment signals growing confidence in India’s casual and puzzle gaming segment.

The company was founded in 2024 by three entrepreneurs, Om Misra, Tapan Ranjan, and Harsh Garg. Despite being a relatively new entrant, the founding team has already managed to attract notable investors and lay the groundwork for what they hope will be a strong presence in the mobile gaming market. Their focus remains squarely on casual and puzzle games, a category that continues to attract millions of everyday players across age groups.

Spill Games takes a fast-moving approach to game development. Rather than spending years in production, the team starts with solid initial concepts and moves quickly to get those games into players’ hands. This build-and-launch model allows them to test ideas in the real world faster and respond to what players actually enjoy. It is a strategy that many successful mobile gaming studios have used to grow efficiently in competitive markets.

With the newly raised capital, Spill Games plans to focus on three key areas: growing its user base, strengthening its brand identity, and expanding its team. Acquiring more players is a top priority, as user growth is often the most critical metric in the mobile gaming world. Building a recognisable brand and bringing in new talent will support the company’s long-term ambitions in the space.

Spill Games is still in its early stages, but the seed round gives it the runway to grow meaningfully over the coming months. With a clear niche in casual and puzzle gaming and a team that values speed and execution, the startup is positioning itself as one to watch in India’s evolving mobile gaming landscape.
