LightFury Games has successfully closed an $11 million Pre-Series A funding round. The round saw participation from prominent investors including Blume Ventures, V3 Ventures, Times Internet, and MIXI Global Investments.
What makes this round stand out is the involvement of some of Indian cricket’s biggest names. Batting stalwarts MS Dhoni, Jasprit Bumrah, Hardik Pandya, Shreyas Iyer, Ravindra Jadeja, Tilak Varma, and Sai Sudharsan have all come on board as strategic investors, adding significant star power to the company’s backing.
The startup is channeling this capital into building eCricket, a cricket-focused gaming experience aimed at a global audience. The company credited its core team, including Karan Shroff and Anurag Banerjee, for driving the mission forward.
