
Fulva, the halwa-focused food brand by Calicut Cousins, has secured a notable vote of confidence boAt co-founder Aman Gupta has come on board as an investor.
The brand’s origin story is as humble as it gets. Four friends with a shared belief that traditional halwa deserved a bigger audience started selling it with no major funding or grand strategy behind them. Just a product they believed in and a vision to modernize a classic Indian sweet.
What kept the venture alive through uncertain early days was a simple principle stay honest to the product and the people around it.
Fulva’s bigger ambition is to build a globally recognized halwa brand, bringing regional varieties from different cultures to international audiences while keeping authenticity intact.
Aman Gupta joining as an investor marks a significant step in that journey. The brand also acknowledges early supporters including Rahul Mamman, the Salpido brothers, Nazim Backer TP, Ijas Musthafa, Prejit Narayan, Ajith, and Prateek Nijhawan, whose belief helped shape what Fulva is today.
