Swiggy has officially discontinued Snacc, its standalone app built around ultra-fast food delivery. The app has been removed from both the Google Play Store and Apple App Store, marking the end of a short-lived venture that promised hot meals at your door in 10 to 15 minutes.
Snacc was introduced roughly a year ago as Swiggy’s answer to the growing demand for quick bites and snack-focused deliveries. The concept was simple faster than traditional food delivery, with a tighter menu aimed at people who wanted something small and quick.
However, sustaining that speed at scale turned out to be far more expensive than profitable, and the business model never found its footing. Employees who were part of the Snacc team are being moved to other roles within the broader Swiggy organization.
