Kerala-based healthcare startup Preventify has secured Rs 2 crore in a pre-seed funding round led by operator-focused accelerator PedalStart, with additional participation from several strategic angel investors, including senior leaders from the healthcare ecosystem and founders from multiple emerging startups. The funding marks an early step in the company’s plan to strengthen preventive and chronic care delivery in India’s smaller cities and semi-urban regions.
Over the next 12 to 18 months, the company plans to expand its clinic presence across Kerala by hiring experienced clinicians, nurses, and care coordinators, while simultaneously building centralized medical teams to maintain treatment consistency. The startup’s long-term goal is to create a scalable and capital-efficient healthcare delivery framework capable of serving underserved regions beyond metro cities.
Currently operating three clinics in Kerala, the startup has already served more than 40,000 patients. Its model focuses on delivering structured, protocol-driven healthcare supported by long-term patient engagement systems designed to manage chronic conditions more effectively. By building standardized treatment workflows and subscription-based monitoring systems, Preventify aims to ensure consistent quality of care across multiple locations.
PedalStart, the lead investor, will also support Preventify beyond funding by working closely with the company on growth planning, operational systems, and expansion strategies to help build a sustainable healthcare platform focused on long-term patient outcomes.
