Bengaluru-based pet healthcare startup Dr. Doodley has secured $3.3 million (around ₹30 crore) in a pre-Series A round, combining equity and debt financing.

The round was led by V3 Ventures, with backing from Campus Fund, Thackersey Family Office, and a group of prominent angel investors. The capital raise includes ₹20 crore in equity and ₹10 crore in debt, reflecting strong investor confidence in the company’s hybrid pet-care model.
Founded in 2023 by Utsav Bisaria and Yash Jayprakash Ladda, Dr. Doodley runs a hospital-backed ecosystem that blends 24/7 vet-at-home services with multi-specialty pet hospitals. The startup currently operates three round-the-clock hospitals in Bengaluru with a team of 35 veterinarians, offering diagnostics, imaging, surgeries, and in-patient care. With the new funding, Dr. Doodley plans to open four additional multi-specialty hospitals in the city, launch 30-minute vet-at-home services, introduce flat ₹10,000 surgical pricing, and scale its veterinary workforce to 100 doctors, with a goal of treating one lakh pets over the next year and expanding into other Tier I cities.
