Cheerio AI Raises ₹8 Crore in Seed Funding to Build Smarter Enterprise Engagement Tools

Indian AI startup Cheerio AI has successfully closed its seed funding round, raising ₹8 crore led by Artha Venture Fund II. The investment marks a significant vote of confidence in the company’s vision to transform how businesses connect with their customers across digital platforms.

Artha Group, the fund’s parent firm, highlighted that managing customer engagement has grown increasingly complex as enterprises deal with a growing number of digital channels. Cheerio AI aims to address this challenge by building tools that help businesses unify and automate these interactions more effectively.

The newly raised funds will be channelled into expanding the platform’s capabilities. Cheerio AI plans to develop a proprietary small-scale language model specifically designed for ad generation, while also broadening its reach from text-based messaging into voice and video formats. Additionally, the company intends to strengthen its AI-driven automation features and roll out more enterprise-grade functionality.

With this funding, Cheerio AI is positioning itself as a key player in the future of intelligent customer engagement helping businesses not just communicate, but engage smarter at scale.
