MyDesignation Secures ₹40 Crore Series A to Scale Its D2C Fashion Brand Across India

Indian fashion and lifestyle startup MyDesignation has raised ₹40 Crore in a Series A funding round. The round was led by RPSG Capital Ventures, with continued support from Veltis Capital, Multiply Ventures, and Dominor Investments.

Launched in 2020 by co-founders Swaroop Krishnan and Gopika Menon, MyDesignation has carved out a strong position in India’s direct-to-consumer (D2C) fashion space. In just a few years, the brand has built a customer base of over one million shoppers across the country, with notably high repeat purchase rates, a strong indicator of genuine brand loyalty in a competitive market.

The newly raised capital is set to power multiple growth initiatives. MyDesignation plans to open more physical stores, taking the brand beyond its online presence. The company also intends to launch new product categories, hire senior talent across key business functions, and build out a broader omnichannel strategy that connects its online and offline experiences seamlessly.
