The consumer goods giant is paying Rs 824 crore to acquire the remaining stake in Zywie Ventures Private Limited (OZiva).

OZiva has demonstrated remarkable business performance since HUL initially invested in the brand. In 2023, HUL had acquired a majority 51% stake in the company, and OZiva has since flourished under this partnership. The brand has grown significantly, reaching approximately Rs 480 crore in revenue by 2025.
The company’s growth has been exceptional, recording an impressive compound annual growth rate of around 130% over the past two years. This explosive expansion has been driven by OZiva’s strong product portfolio and its ability to leverage synergies within HUL’s extensive distribution network and operational ecosystem.
Completing the Acquisition
HUL’s Board of Directors has now approved the purchase of the remaining 49% stake in OZiva. The transaction follows a pre-determined valuation framework that was established earlier, with the total consideration amounting to Rs 824 crore. Once this deal is finalized, OZiva will become a wholly-owned subsidiary operating under Hindustan Unilever’s corporate umbrella.
