
Industrial robotics startup Octobotics Tech Pvt Ltd has announced the successful closure of its Series Seed funding round, raising ₹9.8 crore. The round was led by Navam Capital, with additional participation from Navam and BYT Capital.
The company stated that the newly secured funding will be utilized to strengthen the vertical integration of its technology stack and expand its presence in the industrial inspection market. Octobotics focuses on building robotic platforms designed for Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), currently serving sectors such as oil and gas, chemicals, maritime, and energy.
Its hardware platforms, including Weld Sensei and Reach Master, are built to automate complex and high-risk inspection processes, delivering precise inspection data in environments that are typically hazardous or difficult for manual operations. The company aims to improve safety standards and operational efficiency across heavy industries through advanced robotics solutions.
According to the founders, the capital will also support research and development initiatives for deeper vertical integration, along with obtaining key industrial certifications such as IECEx and ATEX. By managing the complete development cycle from hardware design to edge-AI systems, the company plans to provide reliable and efficient inspection solutions tailored for industrial customers.
