EyeROV Raises ₹13 Cr Pre-Series A Funding to Accelerate Underwater Robotics Expansion

India’s deep-tech ecosystem continues to attract investor interest as underwater robotics startup EyeROV (IROV Technologies Private Limited) has secured ₹13 crore in a pre-Series A funding round. The investment was co-led by AWE Funds and Unicorn India Ventures, marking a significant milestone in the company’s growth journey.

The newly raised capital will primarily be used to accelerate research and development in advanced underwater robotics technologies, strengthen product innovation, and support the company’s international expansion plans. EyeROV focuses on building remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) designed for critical underwater inspection, marine research, and defence applications, addressing growing global demand for reliable subsea robotics solutions.

With increasing infrastructure development across offshore energy, ports, and maritime security, the need for efficient underwater inspection systems has been rising rapidly. The company’s leadership stated that the funding will help scale operations, improve manufacturing capabilities, and position India as a global hub for deep-tech innovation in marine robotics. By combining indigenous engineering expertise with advanced robotics research, EyeROV seeks to deliver globally competitive solutions while contributing to the “Make in India” vision for high-technology manufacturing.

This funding round highlights the growing confidence of investors in India-based deep-tech startups, particularly those developing advanced robotics and automation technologies for specialized industrial and defence applications.
