Clean-Label Brand The Whole Truth Raises $51 Mn in Round Led by Sofina and Sauce.vc

Clean-label food startup The Whole Truth has secured approximately $51 million in a fresh funding round, marking a significant step in its long-term growth journey. The investment was led by Sofina and Sauce.vc, with continued support from existing backers including Peak XV Partners, Rainmatter Health, and Ayra Ventures. Early-stage investor Z47 has also been associated with the brand since its initial phases.

Founded by former Unilever executive Shashank Mehta, The Whole Truth operates in the clean-label packaged food segment, focusing on transparency and ingredient honesty. The brand has built its identity around products made without hidden sugars, artificial flavours, or chemical preservatives, positioning itself as a trusted choice for health-conscious consumers.

The company’s product lineup includes protein bars, protein powders, nut butters, and dark chocolates, catering to a growing demand for healthier everyday nutrition. Product innovation and formulation are led by cofounder Rachna Aggarwal, who oversees the development of clean and compliant offerings across categories.

According to the startup, this funding round signals the start of its IPO journey, with achieving profitability identified as the next major milestone. The newly raised capital will be deployed toward expanding in-house manufacturing capabilities, improving working capital efficiency, and strengthening internal systems required to operate as a public-market-ready company.

With increasing consumer awareness around food labels and ingredient transparency, The Whole Truth aims to scale its operations while staying aligned with its core philosophy of clean, honest nutrition.
